Williamson County

The Land and Its Legacy

client: Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County | published: 1999

Prized for pastoral beauty and small-town charm, Williamson County, adjacent to Nashville, has attracted so many new residents that its landscape and historic character were threatened by over-development. Charged with preserving its scenic and architectural treasures, the Heritage Foundation of Franklin & Williamson County commissioned publication of Williamson County: The Land and Its Legacy to heighten awareness of the county’s unique natural gifts. At the same time, sales of the book have provided significant funds for its statewide affiliate, Tennessee Land Trust.

“From a wonderful partnership with the publisher has come a ‘treasure book’ that’s both a catalyst for community awareness and action as well as a successful fundraiser for our Land Trust.”
