A Ministry of Healing

client: Memorial Hospital | published: 1997

Memorial Hospital was opened in 1952, introducing faith-based health care to Chattanooga. Memorial’s legacy of caring was established by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, whose ministry to the sick and suffering began on the Kentucky frontier in 1812. Memorial Hospital: A Ministry of Healing traces the history of the Sisters of Charity from their founding and celebrates their continuing story through six decades of compassionate healing at Memorial. The compelling and poignant edition is used by the Memorial Foundation as a gift to donors and contributors.

“The words and pictures in Memorial Hospital: Ministry of Healing speak impressively to the heart of our work and successfully aid the funding of our mission.”
