Colonial Pipeline

Courage Passion Commitment

client: Colonial Pipeline | published: 2002

Colonial Pipeline Company envisioned a book documenting the post-war construction of the largest petroleum pipeline in the world, as well as the five decades of service to the country’s military and civilian fuel transportation needs. The photographer and writer team traveled the entire length of the pipeline—from Houston to New York—to portray the employees, pumping facilities, and operations in a book celebrating one of America’s greatest engineering achievements. Colonial Pipeline presented the book as an anniversary gift to its employees, customers, and leaders of the communities through which the line passes.

“Our book, Colonial Pipeline: Courage, Passion, Commitment, is as big and powerful as the American industrial ingenuity it portrays. It impressively tells our story, not only to employees and peers in the industry but to the communities we serve across America.”
