Husky Stadium

Great Games and Golden Moments

client: University of Washington Athletic Department | published: 2004

The University of Washington’s football legacy began with a tent-canvas—uniformed student team during Seattle’s 1880’s boomtown years. Built on the shores of Lake Washington in 1920, Husky Stadium has perpetuated the “UW’s” football tradition for ninety years. Designed with a spectacular view of the lake and snow-capped Cascade Mountains in the distance, the stadium has from its inception been one of the most beautiful sports venues in the nation. The UW Athletic Department sells the book as a fundraiser to alumni and Husky fans.

“This remarkable book impressively captures both game day pageantry and the unique history of the stadium in memorable visual and written images.”
